THE PARISH FIELD WILL NEXT BE AVAILABLE FOR GRAZING 2027/2028. The Tender will be advertised in January 2027 to be approved at the March 2027 meeting.
The Parish Field is advertised for grazing every 2 years, between 1st April - 31 December each year. It is currently occupied and will be available from April 2027.

The Parish Council owns the two fields at the junction of Fillingham Lane and Stone Pit Lane (see location map attached).
The grass-keeping of one of these fields is put out to tender in February/March every 2 years, with anyone who lives in the parish of Willingham eligible to tender.
The period of occupancy is from 1st April to 31st December inclusive each year. This gives a three month winter period when the fields are unoccupied, to allow time for the grass to recover.
Conditions of use can be found on the Agreement document on this site. It is strongly recommended that anyone intending to submit a tender should read this carefully before deciding to proceed.
The tender form for rental of the field during 2027/28 will be available and can be downloaded from this site in January/February 2027. Forms should be returned to the Clerk by 28th February and will be opened at the meeting of the parish council on 11th March 2027. The successful applicant will be informed shortly afterwards.
After a two year period the tender process will be carried out again.
