2022/418 Minutes of last Meetings

                The Minutes of the Annual Meeting of the Council Meeting & May Parish Meeting held on 122h

                May 2022 were approved and signed as true & correct record Resolved

 

2022/419 Declarations of Interest

                None received

 

2022/420 Representatives Report

                Crime report from Saxilby police received – email prior

 

2022/421 Clerks Report

  • Grant Funding request submitted, and 2 x benches ordered for Parish Field development
  • LALC – the PC cannot make any donations to the church

 

2022/422 2022/23 Insurance

                2 x quotes received – discuss & approved to accept 3year agreement with Gallagher Insurance Resolved

 

2022/423 Parish Field Development

               Grass needs strimming – Cllr Connell volunteered to strim

 

Cllr Panter entered the meeting

2022/424 Solar Farms

                Still unable to acquire updated maps from the Solar Farm Projects, clerk to contact Cllr Coulson for any

               updates & maps as new plans have been circulated.  Next stages of consultation in progress, clerk to advert

               and add to Newsletter

 

2022/425 Speed Reactive Units

                Clerk unable to collect data for this meeting, quotes received for solar panels for each unit at a cost of

                £878.83 inc vat. Approved to purchase as batteries needing charging every 10days. Resolved

 

2022/426 Jubilee Weekend

                Chair from Sturton PC judged Best Decorated House/Garden and chose 3 winners – each received a gift

                card. All children under 16years received a Commemorative Jubilee Mug from the PC.

 

2022/427 BKG/Scarecrow Comp

                After a discussion, it was approved to hold a Royal Themed Scarecrow Comp with judging taking place the

                weekend before the Show, 24th Sept with 3 prizes of B&Q gift cards £20, £15 & £5.

                And BKG – to ask 2021’s winner to judge this years on of July with a prize of £15 gift card. Resolved

2022/428 Newsletter 2022

                Clerk to contact all village groups to invite them to send a write-up/information for their group/activities for

                the newsletter. Also, to contact the Shows organising team for distribution. Printers Pelican Trust as in

                previous years. Clerk to draft newsletter for approval at the July meeting

 

2022/429 Highways

  • Virgin box – Stow Rd, reported several times to Highways, they now saying nothing to do with them and to report to Virgin Media
  • The tree outside the VH – work has been completed                

 

2022/430 Planning

      To receive any correspondence/decisions by WLDC and discuss any planning applications.

                 Ref: 144954 - to erect 1no. single storey dwelling, Land north of 33 High Street no comments

                

2022/431 Finance

                To approve & sign the monthly accounts for payment & corresponding Bank Statements

2022/433 Agenda Items for next meeting and to take any points from members

  • Cllr Connell – informed the PC of the Church Jubilee Service, he enjoyed representing the PC
  • Cllr Bates – the 30 sign on is leaning on Gainsborough Rd coming into the village and the 30 sign missing as entering village on Stow Rd, and the village has no Village signs. Clerk to gather info/quotes/signs for next meeting
