The Minutes of the Meeting held on 9th November 2023 were approved and signed as a true & correct

- Road sweeper was requested.
- Kings Portrait – still no update of release date
- Email sent to Willingham Surgery re: parking and reply received to say - The surgery has no capacity to extend the current car park facility, and all the staff are limited as to where they can park, as the majority park outside in the layby or on the High Street. Also, they need to consider the safety of their staff with the PC’s suggestion to park at the playing fields car park at the top end of the village and asking the Parish Council if they have any alternative suggestions or do they have any land available for parking? Some patients do double park and also park on the double yellow lines and on the grass verge, which is not ideal and does cause an issue for farm machinery trying to access the lane.
2023/234 Willingham School Trust
No information to share due to current secretary of the trust not attending agreed meeting
2023/235 Grass Cutting Tender
3 grass tenders were received and discussed. The PC approved to accept Lea Garden Services as per
quote of £3600 with additional work as required at £30ph. Clerk to contact all companies with the
decision. Resolved
2023/236 Grant Funding 2024/25
A grant funding was received form The Playing Field Committee for repair & maintenance. After
discussion it was approved to grant £2400, to be paid April 2024. Clerk to contact the PF Committee
with a query on their 2023 accounts – Mannyfest 2021. Resolved
2023/237 Grant Funding Request 2023/24
Request of funding was received from Seniors Keep Fit (VH Committee) for £259.99 to purchase a
Kurling set due to WLDC pulling the funding for the group. After discussion, it was approved on the
condition that if the group folded, the equipment would remain the property of the VH. Resolved
2023/238 Speed Reactive Device – High St
Over the weekend of 2nd/3rd December 2023, the Elan City Speed Reactive Device was vandalised,
ripped off the pole and left smashed on the grass verge. This has been reported to the police,
been given a crime number (but no further action from the police due to lack of evidence) and
currently seeking costs to replace/repair and in contact with the insurance company.

- Cllr Bates reported on the 4 day solar farms meeting he attended- Sir Edward Leigh & Cllr Buttroid were present and well represented by residents from the village. All areas were covered, concerns over traffic, 9 years to construct.
