MINUTES of the April MEETING held on Thursday 13th April 2023 at 8.15pm

The Chair opened the meeting with Condolences to the Mann family on the passing if Liz from the Parish Council.

2023/74 Minutes of last Meetings
The Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on 9th March 2023 were approved and signed as true & correct record Resolved
2023/75 Declarations of Interest
None received
2023/76 Representatives Report
March Crime Report received from Saxilby Police emailed prior to meeting. After March Meeting, Cllr Buttroid emailed to say looking into the requests of laybys.
2023/77 Clerks Report
- Bus stop benches have been purchased & delivered
- Hop Gardens – proper resurfacing not just filling the holes
2023/78 Kings Coronation
This was discussed, the VH Committee and other village groups were getting together for a street party, tickets for the event and wristbands for each village child. It was approved to purchase each
child in the village an ice cream at the Coronation Celebrations and Cllr Bingham to speak to the village hall committee regarding providing drink/food for residents.
Also, seed packets as King Charles requested, a plaque & a Portrait of the King at a later date.
2023/79 Willingham Horticultural Show Society
Email received asking the PC permission to put a sign at the Parish Field to commemorate its 75th anniversary tree planting – approved Resolved
2023/80 Village Website Hosting Donation Request
The request was discussed and approved. S137 Resolved
2023/81 Willingham Patient Participation Group
The request from the group was discussed and it was approved to send a one-off donation, S137, to the group based at the Willingham Surgery and the condition that they had a group bank account.
Clerk to contact the group.
2023/82 Community investment fund
Email received from Quickline regarding their Community Investment Fund. The PC approved to apply for 2 x Coronation Picnic Tables for the Parish Field.
2023/83 Highways
- Concrete bollards have been removed from Marton Rd
- Hole on Fillingham Lane – in progress
- Pot hole on High Street – need reporting
2023/84 Solar Farms
Reports sent to the Electorate regarding the PC comments/views against the solar farms.
2023/85 Planning
Ref: 146049, Planning application to remove 2no. open sided open sided shed and erect 1no. detached bungalow - resubmission of 144624. Gainsborough Rd – refused by WLDC
2023/86 Finance
The monthly accounts for payment & corresponding Bank Statements were approved as a true & correct record Resolved
